Let's Plan and be Future Ready

The trying times call for innovative measures.

Rather than spending time idling around, we should utilize our time effectively. Each person might have different hobbies, different ways of engaging themselves while staying at home. Some of which may include singing songs, gardening, reading books and so on.

A few things that I believe would turn the time around include,

1) Listening to Music/ Playing Instruments
Music whether you sing or you listen has a way of soothing our heart and soul. So spending more time listening to and enjoying music will do us a lot of good during these hard times.

2) Enjoying the Family Time
Its a blessing to have more family time and to spend it wisely. Find time to help out with chores and little chit chats with everyone at home, its a great time to strengthen the family ties.

3) Exercises
There are many of us who have postponed the exercises and meditations because we never could find the time, well now we have all the time we could ask for. Give yourself a push and stay healthy both physically and mentally.

4) Reading
Reading definitely has power to transport us far and wide beyond the limits of traveling. So reach out for the books you have kept in those shelves for reading later. Now is the time to be carried away in  the magical mysteries within books.

5) Redesigning your house
We all have our plans as to were everything should be and how everything can be just perfect if they are in the right place. We might move one or two furniture around and that can create wonders if you are person with vision for style.

6)Activities and games
"Fun" is a word we cannot ever exclude during these lock down days. Find the games and activities that you can enjoy with your family and that which can relax your mind. Spend your time wisely during these hard times.

Now I want you to share your ideas on how to spend time effectively during lock down.

International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day

Every day there are millions around the world who have set apart their lives to save and take care of others. We call them "Angels on Earth", for they are the ones who stand by you, even when no one else is able to come near you. Its a miracle how we have them to look after us on our sick bed, to take care of us, to console us and to keep us safe. Have you ever imagined a world without nurses?? How would we survive? Who would come around our beds as we lie in hospital?? Who would tell us everything is going to be fine and you are going to walk out in no time?? Who would take care of us?? Who would ensure we have taken the right medicines at the right time??

Well, lets be thankful they are here for us.

The card making competition is open to all. You can create handmade "Thank you cards" using any kind of craft materials readily available. You have to take photo of the outer cover and inside of card and send it to the email- "creativityhub4u@gmail.com". Once you have send your mail, just leave a message in the comment box "send".

The results will be published in the blog within a few days after the competition. So keep checking the blog ...

Now the important aspect that you have to keep in mind is- Send the photo of your card to as many nurses as you know to thank them for their efforts. And let them know, how proud we are to have them amidst us.

Limericks - The Bygone Days

 The Bygone Days

Little by little I sigh,
Life a labyrinth of lie
Or a myriad of mystery.
Let me learn the mastery.
And let this puppet play untie.

Limericks is a poem with five lines, that has a strict rhyme scheme of AABBA. Thus the first, second and fifth line has the same end rhyme and the third and fourth lines have an end rhyme that rhymes with each other.

Now its your turn to weave the lyrics of your very own limericks.

Let me describe my idea of "Reflection" to you

"Reflections" is a word that creates a lot of images within our minds but what if I could capture a moment and describe my idea of reflection to you ....

The Light Reflects
Nature has its's own way of speaking to us, projecting its beauty and power. This simple image portrays the rays of magnificence with which the light shines upon us were the trees stand upright like the shadowing guardians. This moment just glorifies the majestic ethereal beauty of nature that showers upon us. A reflection of how immense the nature stands to the naked eyes of the homo sapiens. Thus a reflection to me is any moment that portrays an introspection within me.

Now I would like you to share your views on "Reflection"... figuratively....
Instead of writing an essay I want you to come up with one photo (in .jpeg format) that you have taken, which portrays your idea of reflection, give it a title and narrate your idea of reflection.

Let it be your unique and original work you can send it to creativityhub4u@gmail.com.
